Rotation Schedule

Build your rotation schedule using the flight information your Commercial team sends each period. Departure and Arrival below are always local time — departure of the outbound sector (report) and arrival of the inbound sector (release) — regardless of your Local/UTC display setting, since the manday rule is defined relative to home base. A rotation counts as 2 mandays on any day it operates where either time falls within 00:00–06:00 local (WOCL), otherwise 1 manday.

A rotation counts as 2 mandays on any day its duty reaches into local night (00:00–06:00) — either reporting before 06:00, or landing after midnight. Duty that finishes late but stays on the same calendar day (a 22:30 or 23:30 arrival) is 1 manday. Checked against report/release time, not the raw flight departure/arrival, so the buffers below decide borderline cases: a 23:50 arrival with a 0.5h post-flight buffer releases at 00:20 and counts. Adjust the buffers to match your standard pre/post-flight duty allowance.

Flight Rotations — Flight Patterns

Add each flight once and pick which days of the week it operates — the pattern repeats every week of the selected month. Flight Pattern controls how the generator treats a crew member's location: a Turnaround (base → destination → base, e.g. Destination "CMB-DXB-CMB") lands back home the same night even if the clock crosses into the next calendar day — that arrival day isn't counted as a separate operational day, so the same crew member is immediately available again, reducing mandays. A one-way Layover flight (single sector, e.g. "CMB-DXB") sends the crew away from base — they stay unavailable for any other base-departing flight until you add a matching Return flight (e.g. "DXB-CMB") that brings them back.

Flight Chaining Patterns

A separate mechanism from Flight Patterns above. By default a crew member is only ever assigned one flight per operating day. Add a rule here to allow a second flight the same day — e.g. after 8D821/2 (CMB-DXB-CMB) lands, the same crew can be given 8D911/2 (CMB-DAC-CMB) once at least the minimum gap has passed since 8D821/2's arrival. Without a matching rule, the generator never chains two flights together for one crew member on the same day, no matter how much rest they'd have.

If You Choose to Sign In (optional)

Signing in is never required to use the calculators — it only unlocks cross-device sync and team features.
Once signed in, your settings, rotation schedule, logbook, My Schedule calendar, crew documents, and saved calculations are stored in your account (with row-level access control) so they can follow you to another device.
If you create or join an organization, that org's owner and scheduler roles can see the rotation schedules, logbook, My Schedule calendar, crew documents, and saved calculations of pilots in the same organization — this is what makes team scheduling possible (a scheduler can see a document is about to expire before it becomes a rostering problem). Your app preferences (theme, regulation, time format) always stay private, even from schedulers.
Signing out only ends your session — your local data on this device is untouched.
